About the role
Senior Staff Engineer focusing on post-silicon power and performance validation and optimization for AMD’s custom silicon products, collaborating across architecture, software, manufacturing, and customer engineering to meet power targets and validate specifications.
Responsibilities
- Own validation and tuning of power functionality and targets, collaborating with manufacturing and customer engineering to enable production.
- Develop deep expertise in existing and new power features for AMD products.
- Build relationships and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and guide them through planning and execution phases of post-silicon power attainment and optimization efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
