About the role

Internship opportunity at AMD in Singapore for a 2027 Term 1 Diagnostic Design Engineering role. Full-time during internship with hybrid or onsite work structure. Focus on designing and validating diagnostic tests for processor hardware, with mentorship and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and verify diagnostic tests used in processor qualification and production test suites for both internal and external customers.
  • Debugging and solving HW and SW problems.
  • Analyze fallout boards to identify opportunities to improve test time, test effectiveness, and overall efficiency.
  • Investigate and debug diagnostic source code using advanced C++ programming in a Linux system environment to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist in ASIC bring-up and support activities for data center/AI, gaming graphics, and embedded HW products.
  • Build and debug automation tools/scripts to assist with the above.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience in: C++ programming, scripting, PC/system, GPU and CPU hardware architectures, Linux software development and debugging, and source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
