About the role

Internship position at AMD focused on IC design exploration across analog, digital, functional verification, and post-silicon validation within the SerDes Technology team. Provides hands-on learning in semiconductor design processes, collaboration with global teams, and potential specialization based on academic background.

Responsibilities

  • First Few Weeks: Learn about AMD's Singapore Design Team, engineering culture, and IC design fundamentals; build foundational semiconductor and technical knowledge; develop the ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
  • Next Few Months: Contribute to projects within your assigned specialization; participate in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing activities; develop communication skills and gain exposure to engineering decision-making and design trade-offs.
  • Throughout the Internship: Participate in company, department, and networking activities to enrich your internship experience.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
