About the role

Opportunity to join Apple’s mixed-signal silicon design team as a results-oriented RTL Design Engineer, focusing on digital and mixed-signal circuit design, verification, and lab bring-up, with exposure to DSP concepts and AI-assisted design tools.

Responsibilities

  • RTL Design & Implementation: Develop and optimize RTL code in Verilog/SystemVerilog for mixed-signal digital blocks and signal processing pipelines
  • DSP Algorithm Translation: Collaborate with algorithm engineers to translate DSP concepts (filtering, transforms, modulation, signal analysis) into efficient, high-performance RTL implementations
  • Design Verification: Write comprehensive assertions, unit-level testbenches, and participate in functional verification using industry-standard methodologies
  • Integration & Bring-up: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate complex IPs, validate performance in silicon, and support lab characterization
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work effectively with analog designers, algorithm engineers, verification specialists, and system architects across disciplinary boundaries
  • SPECIFICATION & MRO: Specify and/or micro-architect digital and signal processing blocks; RTL coding of blocks; implement DSP algorithms; participate in lab bring-up and experimentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Skills

Required:Verilog/SystemVerilogDSP concepts & translation to RTLDesign VerificationScripting languagesHands-on DSP experience
Nice to have:Formal verification & low-power designHardware-software co-design & system-level optimizationGenAI proficiency for hardware designDebugging & lab bring-up
