About the role
Conductor is hiring a Product Engineer to join a small, in-person San Francisco team building the first AI orchestrator. The role emphasizes full-stack engineering, rapid iteration, user interaction, prototyping, and delivering a polished product. No AI experience required, but enthusiasm for AI tools and LLMs is valued.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across product, design, and engineering to ideate and build features for Conductor's product.
- Prototype and iterate on ideas quickly, then ship a polished product.
- Engage with users to gather feedback and translate it into implementation.
- Contribute as a scrappy jack of all trades, potentially covering frontend, backend, and tooling as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and deep technical expertise.
- Ability to move fast and iterate on ideas.
- Experience or interest in working with AI tools and LLMs (not required to have AI/ML product experience).
- Startup experience or comfort working in a small, fast-moving team.
