About the role

Senior staff-level role in SLT (System-Level Test) Product Development within AMD's Embedded Business Unit, focusing on creating and optimizing SLT test solutions for next-generation microprocessors to meet production milestones and KPI metrics (test time, yield, cost, quality) across NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving test solution/coverage development, optimization to meet business milestones: schedule, test time, yield, cost and quality.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
  • Mastery of principles of test experience in System Level Test or x86 System Architecture
  • SLT technical leader with successful track record of bringing up test patterns, debug low yield, test flow integration and characterization in an NPI Product Engineering team
  • Proficient in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in platform test and debug
  • Experience with IC test and assist in ASIC bring up and support activities
  • Technical knowledge in OS kernel, driver, BIOS firmware
  • Programming/scripting experience in C, C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, Python
  • Knowledge of version control tools (Git)
  • Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
