About the role

Seattle-based Executive and Personal Assistant to support Surge leadership, providing in-person and discretionary support across work and personal commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership (customers, employees, candidates, press inquiries, appointments, and household vendors/staff)
  • Manage work and personal calendars
  • Manage work and personal travel
  • Assist with personal projects and errands
  • Support and plan get-togethers and scoping of office space for Seattle employees
  • Support local events including team onsites, social events, customer engagement events, and recruiting events

Qualifications

  • Based in Seattle
  • Willingness to provide in-person support at least 3 days a week
  • Ability to travel and adapt to evolving priorities (evening and weekend events)
  • Experience in executive support, office management, or operations (ideally in high-growth environments)
  • Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds; no specific industry required (event planning, travel, music, entertainment, art, hospitality, medicine, etc. welcome)
  • Discretion, proactive, polished, and capable of independent execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Technically proficient with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Calendly, Microsoft Office; willingness to use LLMs for personal workflows
  • Judgment in design and hospitality; connections in Seattle’s food/design/creative scenes a plus
