About the role
Responsible for growing and supporting the Aptos community in Korea through engagement, events, content, and collaboration with local and global teams.
Responsibilities
- Create a vision and strategy for sustainable community growth & development
- Define objectives and key results for weekly reports
- Develop strategies to educate and onboard community members from outside the ecosystem
- Support and nurture community, converting members into advocates
- Collaborate with global and local teams on strategy implementation
- Support Korean ambassadors through grants and resources
- Organize online and offline community events, including hackathons, meetups, webinars, and conferences
- Engage community leaders, answer questions, troubleshoot products
- Monitor community health using tools like Orbit.love and recommend improvements
- Gather community feedback and identify challenges
- Contribute to weekly ecosystem updates and manage local social media accounts
- Create educational content (blogs, guides, videos)
- Work with contributors to coordinate initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience as a community manager or similar role
- 2+ years moderating active Telegram, Discord, KakaoTalk, and similar platforms
- Experience in social media, digital marketing, or analytics
- Deep familiarity with the blockchain / crypto industry
- Excellent communication skills in native Korean and fluent English
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and empathy
