About the role
Outpatient neuromuscular medicine position in a physician-led MS and Neuromuscular Center of Excellence in the Tampa Bay area. Board-certified/Board-eligible neurologist with fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine or clinical neurophysiology, or EMG experience, to join an established outpatient practice with EMG/NCS, IVIG infusion program, and potential clinical research involvement.
Responsibilities
- Inherit an established neuromuscular patient panel
- Perform outpatient EMG/NCS studies
- Access to an established infusion center supporting complex neuromuscular disease management
- Collaborate with MS and neuromuscular specialists
- Option to participate in active neurological clinical research
- Maintain flexibility to include general neurology interests as desired
- Provide outpatient-only care with no hospital call or inpatient responsibilities (100% outpatient)
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida
- Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Neurophysiology or significant EMG experience
- Strong clinical interest in neuromuscular disorders
