About the role

Technical Specialist providing technical support and skilled troubleshooting for Apple customers, educating on repair options and services, and contributing to a high-quality, inclusive customer experience in Apple Retail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for all customers and products.
  • Develop knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient and high-quality repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and share feedback with Apple.
  • Educate customers on relevant ways to buy and on repair options, products, and services.
  • Support customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
  • Maintain availability to work a schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in the retail store.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical expertise of Apple products and services.
  • Ability to follow troubleshooting steps to identify root causes in a customer service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to navigate customer service issues with care.
  • Commitment to continuously learn about Apple products, services, and third-party products to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks.
  • Team player with shared responsibility and accountability.
