About the role

Lead the 0-to-1 development of the HTS API Marketplace, defining packaging, pricing, partner discoverability, and enterprise-grade API products for Hopper’s lodging and car capabilities. Collaborate with capability PMs and cross-functional teams to bring the marketplace from concept to revenue-generating platform in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Define what the HTS API Marketplace is: how capabilities are structured, packaged, and priced across a portfolio spanning HTS Connect, Search Polygons, Autocomplete, Ranking, Content & Property Mapping, Room Mapping, Deduplication/Auction, Pricing, Extranet, Taxes, and Custom Deals Engine.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, including at least one 0-to-1 product from concept to commercial launch.
  • Demonstrated experience building developer-facing or B2B marketplace products with API design, developer experience, and enterprise packaging.
  • AI-native working style with experience building demos, mockups, or proofs-of-concepts using AI before engineering handoff.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace economics: take rates, supply/demand incentives, platform vs. variable models.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple product teams, surface dependencies, and drive alignment without owning underlying engineering.
  • Experience working with external enterprise partners, translating commercial needs into product requirements and managing multi-phase rollouts.
  • Strong SQL fluency and experience with large-scale transactional/operational datasets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including API and product documentation.
