About the role

Solution Engineer role based in Stuttgart, Germany, focusing on helping customers solve complex technical problems across Applied Intuition's Vehicle OS, Tools for Vehicle Intelligence, and Self-Driving Systems portfolios. Involves pre-/post-sales engagements, technical discovery, demos, multi-domain proposals, and collaboration with product specialists. Emphasis on broad automotive software foundations, fast learning, and customer-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements across Vehicle OS, SDS and Tooling pillars as needed
  • Conduct technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept work across Applied Intuition’s product suite
  • Adapt technical depth to whichever product pillar is most relevant for a given customer or opportunity
  • Build cross-pillar proposals where a customer engagement spans multiple product areas
  • Work closely with Applied Intuition’s product and solution specialists to ramp up on new product areas
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements and maintain clear internal stakeholder communication

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in automotive software development or technical customer engagement, spanning more than one product domain (e.g., ADAS + SDV, simulation + vehicle architecture, IVI + middleware)
  • Strong automotive software foundations with the ability to engage credibly on topics across E/E architecture, ADAS validation, and/or autonomy systems
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical domains quickly and apply them in a customer-facing context
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs
  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Programming experience in Python and/or C++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German and/or additional European language is a significant plus
