About the role

Technical Specialist at Apple Retail responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and education to customers, while driving product and service adoption and contributing to an inclusive, high-quality service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for customers and Apple products/services.
  • Educate customers on repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Identify recurring repair problems with team leaders and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding needs, presenting product/service recommendations, and educating on relevant ways to buy.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store.
  • Reliably attend work as scheduled in line with local laws and accommodations if applicable.
