About the role

Technical business development lead bridging Applied Intuition’s Silicon Valley HQ with the Japan market; responsible for uncovering customer needs, leading technical discovery, and coordinating solutions and proposals for automotive and adjacent domains.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential customers identified predominantly from Japan-based Account Managers or locally identified opportunities
  • Use customer discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and potential Applied Intuition solutions
  • Host customer workshops and organize tailored demonstrations
  • Develop final customer solutions with Product and Engineering teams for existing products or support creation of new products for new concepts
  • Iterate with customers on technical scope and business model, guiding the proposal through customer approvals
  • Plan revenue strategy and outlook for these solutions in automotive and adjacent domains

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of prior experience in automotive; interest in relevant domains to guide customers on best practices
  • Proven ability to work across stakeholders to execute complex projects
  • Strong interest and capability to work with customers and drive engagements
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; experience running multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience working with automotive software technologies
  • Ability to travel internationally once every 4-6 weeks on average
