Power Systems Integration Engineer (HWEE) - Wireless Power Division

About the role

Hardware Engineer role in Apple’s Wireless Power Technology team focused on integrating inductive wireless charging technology into products through close collaboration with factory teams and cross-functional groups, from prototype through mass production.

Responsibilities

  • System bring-up, characterisation, testing and validation
  • System-level problem solving - failure analysis, root cause & corrective action proposal
  • Debug test sequences on automated test equipment
  • Design of Experiments (DOE) creation, execution and data analysis
  • Write technical documentation (Eg. requirements, specifications and test plans)
  • Review and analyse build data to inform critical program decisions; present findings with summaries and takeaways
  • Frequent business travel required, up to or exceeding 50% (primarily within China; some travel to New Zealand and USA)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong foundational knowledge in both analog and digital design
  • Hands-on experience with prototype bring-up, hardware debugging, and functional verification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Collaborative team player who can work independently and take ownership of projects
