About the role

Senior litigator to join Apple's Commercial Litigation team. Provide legal support for all products and businesses, formulate and drive strategy, and advise internal clients on a wide range of novel, high-stakes commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions. Travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Personally formulate and drive strategy, not just monitor outside counsel
  • Provide counsel to internal clients on a wide range of novel matters
  • Independently drive complex, high-stakes commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions around the world
  • Deliver concise and actionable advice in real time
  • Operate with a high degree of self-sufficiency and independent judgment
  • Trial-focused approach
  • Collaborate with a team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional disputes across international markets
  • Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements

Qualifications

  • 8-15+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex commercial and business-to-business disputes
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional disputes across international markets
  • International arbitration experience
  • Trial experience
  • Prior in-house experience
  • Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable advice under pressure and on short notice
  • Strong technology interest and aptitude
