About the role

Site Reliability Engineer to develop a data-driven reliability framework, build self-healing systems, automate toil, and embed reliability into CI/CD, with a focus on proactive performance management across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the evolution of production ecosystems and build a sophisticated observability and alerting framework.
  • Design and implement next-generation observability and alerting strategies prioritizing high-cardinality data and meaningful signals over noise.
  • Build self-healing systems and reduce toil through automation.
  • Partner with development teams to bake reliability into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks before they impact customers.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Understanding of Linux internals and deep networking expertise (HTTP/2, HTTP/3/QUIC, HTTPS/TLS).
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks and complex workflows using Python or Go.
  • Experience configuring and managing modern monitoring suites (Prometheus, Grafana, ClickHouse) with high-signal alerting.
  • Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) for efficient code and troubleshooting big systems.
  • Practical knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Release Management and Incident Management.
