About the role

Senior litigator to join Apple's commercial litigation team. Counsel internal clients, formulate and drive strategy for complex, high-stakes commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions. Travel required. Fast-paced, independent, trial-focused environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Personal formulation and driving of litigation strategy, not just monitoring outside counsel
  • Provide counsel to internal clients on a wide range of novel matters
  • Independently drive complex, high-stakes commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Deliver concise and actionable advice in real time
  • Operate with self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach
  • Collaborate with a team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff to protect Apple's interests
  • Travel as required

Qualifications

  • 8-15+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex commercial and business-to-business disputes
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills
  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional disputes across international markets
  • International arbitration experience
  • Trial experience
  • Prior in-house experience
  • Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable advice under pressure and on short notice
  • Strong technology interest and aptitude
