Founding EMS Sales Development Representative
About the role
CareSwift is a YC-backed startup building AI to automate ambulance reports. The Founding EMS Sales Development Representative will own the top of the funnel, prospect EMS agencies, and book product demos for the CTO to close. High autonomy, early-stage role with opportunity to shape outbound playbooks.
Responsibilities
- Prospect & research: Identify high-potential EMS agencies, ambulance services, and fire departments that would benefit from CareSwift. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Outreach: Craft and execute outbound campaigns — cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels — to set up conversations with decision-makers.
- Qualify: Have conversations to understand prospect pain points, workflows, and fit with CareSwift.
- Book demos: Schedule qualified prospects for product demos with the CTO.
- Iterate on process: Track what's working and build a repeatable, scalable outbound engine.
- Be the voice of the customer: Share prospect feedback to help shape product and messaging.
Qualifications
- EMS knowledge or experience in or around emergency medical services (provider, dispatcher, administrator, or EMS vendor).
- Natural hunter mindset with ability to find and engage leads.
- People skills to build rapport with EMS leaders.
- Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity in an early-stage startup.
- Organized and persistent, CRM hygiene and pipeline management.
- Sales experience is a plus (SDR/BDR, medical equipment, or B2B), but EMS knowledge and hustle matter more.
