About the role

Movement disorders-focused neurology position in Round Rock/Austin, TX with no call or weekend duties. Opportunity to develop a dedicated movement disorders practice within an established, patient-centered neurology group.

Responsibilities

  • Movement disorders patient care (Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian, essential tremor, dystonia, ataxias, tardive dyskinesia, botulinum toxin procedures)
  • DBS programming with in-office support
  • In-office botulinum toxin procedures
  • Outpatient-only practice — no hospital or call duties
  • Collaboration with subspecialists and research teams
  • Participation in or development of movement disorders research and trials (as PI or Sub-I if appropriate)

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Movement Disorders fellowship preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical interest/experience in movement disorders
  • Interest in DBS and/or toxin management preferred
  • Clinical research experience welcomed but not required
  • Collaborative, patient-centered approach to care
