About the role

Role within the Siri organization to develop next-generation Siri experiences across Apple devices, focusing on AI-powered personal context understanding, on-screen awareness, and user-centric design while leveraging agentic coding workflows and collaboration across Apple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with agentic coding workflows — directing AI coding assistants as a core part of how you design, build, and ship features
  • Hands-on involvement in new product bringup and developing new Siri experiences on new generations of Apple products
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering leads and colleagues across Apple to bring new ideas to life
  • Build exciting spoken and visual experiences for customers on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS
  • Collaborate with teams to develop next generation products leveraging AI, mobile devices, and software development

Qualifications

  • M.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Some years of professional software engineering experience, preferably working on an end-user product
  • iOS software development experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, C++, Objective C, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; collaborative work environment
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Copilot) and the ability to direct, critically evaluate, and iterate on AI-generated code as a primary part of your engineering workflow
  • Track record of developing products with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience
  • Experience working on large, cross-functional, and multi-team projects
