About the role

Buck Mason is seeking a Coffee Shop Manager for Fast Times SoHo (Palisades, CA) to lead and train the team, ensure high-quality hospitality and beverage/food standards, and uphold Buck Mason standards across shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Be the leader everyone looks up to, setting the bar high for performance.
  • Run shifts like a boss – manage team coverage, deliver top-notch hospitality, and execute Buck Mason's drink and food program.
  • Help train newbies and keep veterans updated with offerings.
  • Maintain safe operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide timely feedback to the team on what’s working and what could be better.
  • Keep coffee knowledge sharp through tastings, cuppings, and training sessions.
  • Prepare drinks and bites to high-quality standards.
  • Ensure team interactions are respectful and safe.

Qualifications

  • At least one year experience of leading a team.
  • Possess a Food Safety Certification or ready to snag it within 30 days post-hire.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
