About the role

Engineering Program Manager for the Generative AI Experiences software team within Apple’s Special Projects, focusing on end-to-end UX software with machine learning pipelines and cross-functional delivery across software, hardware, product, design, and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Experience driving very large, complex software system development and integration.
  • Lead cross-functional projects across disciplines (SW, HW, Product, Design, QA).
  • Manage delivery of complex customer-facing projects under demanding timelines.
  • Filter and distill relevant information for diverse audiences; communicate effectively to win confidence of engineers and stakeholders.
  • Influence and drive consensus on organizational priorities and engineering focus areas.

Qualifications

  • BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent required
  • 5-8 years combined experience in engineering and software project leadership delivering cross-functional projects across disciplines (SW, HW, Product, Design, QA)
  • Strong full-stack technology foundation with experience delivering products spanning across functional disciplines
  • Excellent track record of project management and meeting deliverables
  • Self-motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills; able to adapt messaging to audience
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information appropriate for audience
  • Flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to cater communications based on audience
