About the role

Project Manager responsible for coordinating cross-functional programs from early engineering phases through operational deployment, ensuring on-time and on-spec delivery of complex drone systems and programs, and resolving blockers to maintain critical schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery of complex drone systems and programs - including hardware and software design and delivery, maintenance, customer services and training activities.
  • Program Execution: Drive the deliverables across engineering, technical, and operational milestones.
  • Project Oversight: Guarantee that all deliverables meet established technical and operational requirements, ensuring end-to-end delivery success.
  • Issue & Risk Management: Proactively track and resolve program-level blockers, both technical and administrative, and manage project risks.
  • Enabler Identification: Identify missing project enablers and escalate internally to unblock delivery or alignment with program goals.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Interface with internal engineering teams and external partners/suppliers to align on technical requirements, timelines, and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or another high-complexity technical industry is a strong plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management within a technology, engineering, or aerospace sector.
  • Strong delivery expertise on embedded systems (both hardware and software).
  • Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs and technical deliveries in demanding operational environments is a strong plus.
  • Exclusive focus on project/program management in your career history.
  • Proven track record of coordinating technical teams to achieve program milestones.
  • Ability to manage programs in cutting-edge/disruptive environments.
  • Experience with contract management, vendor coordination, or technical transition programs is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward success.
