About the role

Quality Engineer to support deployment and continuous improvement of the quality management system (QMS) across international entities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to audits, supplier/customer quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • - Quality Management System Support: Assist in documentation and implementation of procedures aligned with ISO 9001 and EN 9100; participate in internal audits from start to finish; follow-up on non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions.
  • - Operational Quality: Manage incoming/outgoing quality checks; analyze product returns and coordinate corrective actions with technical teams; apply Root Cause Analysis and Ishikawa diagrams; support risk reduction across production and R&D.
  • - Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams using Jira/Confluence to document and track quality topics; communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and promote quality culture.
  • - Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve processes, reduce risks, and increase customer satisfaction; collect/analyze data for performance monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in quality, industrial, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech sectors, with at least one successful first permanent role.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and ability to perform internal audits end-to-end across different types of quality topics (process, supplier, product).
  • Experience with quality tools, including Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, and risk reduction methods.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments in an international environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; alignment with Harmattan AI’s mission.
