About the role

Genius role in Apple Retail involving extensive troubleshooting, customer service, and repair of Apple products in-store. Focus on educating customers, mentoring team members, handling escalations, and contributing to an inclusive environment while delivering high-standard service.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service to customers by understanding needs, recommending products/services, and educating on buying options.
  • Educate customers about repair options and Apple offerings.
  • Repair all Apple products serviced in the store.
  • Enhance team knowledge by mentoring and role-modeling exceptional service.
  • Identify recurring repair problems with team leaders and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for Genius Bar team members.
  • Support leadership in resolving customer escalations.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
