About the role

Lead and implement high-precision mechanical manufacturing processes for Apple’s worldwide enclosure supply base. Collaborate with Industrial Design, Product Design, Quality, Global Supply Management, and suppliers to deliver manufacturing solutions that meet quality, cost, yield, capacity, schedule, and environmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of high precision mechanical manufacturing processes across Apple’s worldwide supply base.
  • Collaborate with Apple Industrial Design, Product Design, and Manufacturing Design partners, as well as worldwide suppliers.
  • Contribute to end-to-end manufacturing solutions for Apple’s hardware enclosures across cross-functional teams (Quality Engineering, Global Supply Management, Product Design, Industrial Design).

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, process development, program management or supply chain management
  • Ability to use data to solve problems and make products
  • Proven track record of delivering on challenging projects with tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to peers, stakeholders and leaders
  • BS IE, ME or applicable degree
