About the role

DevOps engineer focus on improving developer productivity and embedded software quality by owning and evolving the continuous integration infrastructure across Harmattan AI’s autonomous defense software teams.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous Integration: Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines that compile, test, and deliver our software.
  • Visibility & Alerting: Build dashboards and notification/alert systems to surface build, test, and pipeline status to the right people.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with software developers across teams, Validation, GNC, ML, and Perception to understand workflows and build practical tooling solutions.
  • AI in the Pipeline: Integrate and deploy AI agents within the CI.
  • Developer Productivity & Quality: Track health of the development workflow and identify bottlenecks and quality issues.
  • Documentation & Standards: Document tooling and help standardize development best practices across teams.

Qualifications

  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a similar technical field; equivalent professional experience is equally valued.
  • Past experience in embedded software development, using C/C++.
  • Solid hands-on experience with build systems such as CMake, and the ability to debug and maintain build configurations.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions, including writing and maintaining workflows in the Actions YAML syntax to automate builds and tests.
  • Confident writing automation in Bash and Python, and comfortable working in a Linux environment with Docker.
