About the role

Director-level leader responsible for scaling the supply chain and inventory accounting function tied to CoreWeave’s global data center footprint, ensuring financial integrity, robust internal controls, and alignment with business objectives in a high-growth, high-change environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical and core accounting operations across the supply chain, inventory, and asset lifecycles, including GRIR management, absorption costing, and inventory valuation for the global data center network; maintain integrity and internal control for P2P capital assets; direct month-end close activities for logistics with hands-on transactional work and long-term process transformation.
  • Drive systems transformation, controls implementation, and audit readiness; design accounting for supply chain ERP modules and integrations to support migration from NetSuite to SAP/Oracle; document robust end-to-end SOX-compliant controls; provide first-pass technical accounting assessments for supply chain topics as primary liaison for internal and external auditors.
  • Provide strategic leadership, cross-functional alignment, and team scaling; define and execute long-term operational accounting vision for financial scalability in hyper-growth; establish operational metrics to foster continuous improvement; partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A, and IT; build a high-performing global team from an initial lean, player-coach position.

Qualifications

  • Progressive accounting experience with senior leadership in supply chain, inventory, or manufacturing accounting in asset-heavy or logistics-intensive environments.
  • Deep ownership of inventory and cost accounting; strong knowledge of inventory management systems, GRIR, standard cost/absorption, and US GAAP.
  • Proven design and operation of SOX-compliant controls over supply chain processes and inventory valuation; track record of clean audits and reducing audit findings.
  • Experience establishing inventory valuation, obsolescence, overhead allocation, and logistics/freight cost tracking and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Hands-on leadership of ERP implementations or major upgrades (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) impacting inventory, purchasing, and cost accounting.
  • Ownership of system integrations between accounting, operations, and supply chain/logistics platforms (WMS, TMS, procurement tools, planning/MRP); documentation of end-to-end workflows and policies.
  • Direct accountability for transforming supply chain close, GRIR aging, and asset lifecycle accounting processes; balanced hands-on and strategic leadership.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A, and IT; drive measurable improvements in close timelines and reporting.
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, data center, or capital-intensive global operations.
