About the role

CNC Machinist (5-Axis) to run multi-axis machines (DMG Mori and Haas) in a fast-paced, development-focused manufacturing environment, contributing to high-volume, vertically integrated machining for 3D printing factories and post-processing metal 3D printed parts.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, run, and operate programs on CNC machines (DMG Mori and Haas) for complex parts.
  • Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or schematics under tight tolerances.
  • Perform on-machine deburr as well as manual deburr as needed.
  • Inspect parts with on-machine probing as well as with manual tools such as micrometers, thread gauges, and indicators.
  • Perform machine preventative maintenance and manage cutting fluid.
  • Take part in process improvement projects and help in constantly improving processes and the shop.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in set-up and operation of CNC machines
  • Experience machining aluminum, stainless, titanium, or Inconel
  • Experience with 5-axis machining
  • Experience reading blueprints, part drawings, and schematics
