About the role

Engineering Program Manager to drive cross-functional programs accelerating machine learning development and deployment, leading projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery within Apple Foundation Models, Engineering Tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional programs focused on accelerating machine learning development and deployment.
  • Partner with engineering management to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization and cross-functionally.
  • Manage conflicts and challenges to ensure successful outcomes and delivery.
  • Communicate status and risks clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project or program management, leading cross-functional software engineering teams in large organizations to deliver consumer or enterprise technology products.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software or machine learning models.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and resolve conflicts within large, complex teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation.
  • Prior experience in hands-on software development.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, fostering trust across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Curiosity and passion for new technologies, and ability to quickly understand technical concepts.
