About the role

Role within Checkr's Financial Planning & Strategy team to support growth across Checkr’s new and emerging products by partnering with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Analytics to lead financial planning, evaluate opportunities (pricing/use-case expansion), and inform investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Product Finance Ownership: Own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a portfolio of new and growth products.
  • Business Partnership: Partner with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Analytics to support roadmap, investment, and operating decisions.
  • Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate new products, use cases, pricing, and packaging opportunities using financial and strategic frameworks.
  • Insights & Recommendations: Deliver clear, data-driven insights on growth, margin, risk, and ROI to inform executive decisions.
  • AI-Enabled FP&S: Use AI tools to improve planning speed, analysis quality, reporting workflows, and decision support.

Qualifications

  • 6–9+ years of experience in strategic finance, product finance, business operations, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills across forecasting, scenario analysis, pricing, and investment cases.
  • Experience partnering with Product and/or Engineering on roadmap, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.
  • Strong business judgment and executive communication; able to turn ambiguity into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
  • High ownership, bias for action, and either experience in, or a desire to, become “AI Native” to improve decision-making
  • An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
