About the role

Senior AP Accountant, Direct Spend responsible for executing day-to-day accounts payable operations within CoreWeave's GBS organization, supporting end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, and driving process standardization and continuous improvement in a SOX-compliant corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day accounts payable operations within the P2P process
  • Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes in a shared services/GBS environment
  • Collaborate with GBS leadership, Accounting, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely AP operations
  • Assist in month-end close activities including AP accruals and reconciliations
  • Manage 3-way match, high-volume invoice processing, payment batch runs, and related banking functions
  • Support SOX-compliant AP operations and internal controls
  • Participate in process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives related to AP operations
  • Provide reporting and data analysis as required using ERP and Excel tools
  • Assist with vendor communications and reconciliation as needed
  • Partner cross-functionally with Procurement and Finance stakeholders to optimize AP processes
  • Support AP automation and workflow improvement initiatives as applicable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience focused on direct spend management
  • Experience supporting P2P processes end-to-end in a shared services/GBS/corporate accounting environment
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit support, and SOX-compliant AP operations
  • Hands-on experience with 3-way match, high-volume invoice processing, payment batch runs, and banking functions
  • Ability to support month-end close activities including AP accruals and reconciliations
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis
