About the role

Senior engineering leader focused on designing and building a next-generation online evaluation platform and A/B experimentation infrastructure at Apple. Leads multi-year strategy, defines technical vision, grows a high-performing team, and delivers scalable infrastructure enabling rigorous experiments across products and features at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an online experimentation/evaluation platform at scale.
  • Set technical strategy for the platform and drive implementation across teams.
  • Define multi-year strategy to design and build best-in-class online experimentation system at Apple.
  • Collaborate with partners across the company to align stakeholders on shared infrastructure.
  • Grow a high-performing team and deliver infrastructure enabling numerous teams to run rigorous experiments.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience as a technical engineering leader.
  • Proven experience leading teams that have built and scaled experimentation or A/B testing platforms in a service-oriented architecture.
  • Deep understanding of the statistical foundations of experimentation, including trade-offs of experiment design.
  • Strong track record of translating ambiguous, long-horizon problems into concrete engineering plans.
  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to align diverse stakeholders on shared infrastructure.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
