About the role
Flowtel is building the next generation operating system for hospitality powered by AI agents. They are hiring founding engineers at senior/staff levels to ship core backend infrastructure and AI-powered systems for an AI-first hospitality platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for an AI-driven hospitality platform
- Develop and optimize AI agents and integrations across product surface (booking, room service, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to ship features end-to-end
- Operate with high ownership and deliver high-agency engineering output
Qualifications
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- Extremely strong AI coding experience
- Proven track record in backend systems
- Experience building scalable distributed systems
- US citizen/visa only

Benefits
- Competitive compensation: $180K - $250K (staff/senior) or $150K - $200K (senior) plus equity options as per role level (per the role section)
