About the role
Helios is building AI-native operations infrastructure. This role involves owning production runtime, reliability, and deployment abstractions for AI-powered agents, with a strong emphasis on ship-and-operate responsibilities in a hands-on, multi-disciplinary engineering role.
Responsibilities
- - The production runtime that powers our voice and WhatsApp agents
- - Reliability, observability, and on-call for live customer traffic
- - The abstractions that let us deploy new agents across customers without breaking the ones already in production
- - Own the on-call rotation and contribute to architecture improvements (implied by first 90 days goals)
Qualifications
- - Strong in TypeScript / Node.js — event loops, streams, async internals
- - Comfortable with modern infrastructure
- - Excited by building something foundational in AI
- - Based in Mexico City (5 days a week in office)
