About the role
AI operating system for commercial loans. Founding engineer role at Proximitty, building autonomous lending agents and the core infrastructure for a smart commercial lending system.
Responsibilities
- Build out the core infrastructure for one of the smartest lending systems ever shipped
- Own the product end to end — architecture, agents, evals, UI/UX
- Collison install/deploy with customers — fly to banks, sit with credit officers, iterate on-site
- Create self-evolving agents and a software factory that improves with every iteration and automatically hill climbs on evals
- 0-30 days: build core infra powering commercial lending agents
- 30-60 days: lead 0-to-1 product build for core product lines
- 60-90 days: deploy the product live on client systems
Qualifications
- You deeply understand the importance of security, reliability, and auditability of shipping AI agents for banks, fintechs, and regulated financial institutions
- Up-to-date knowledge of frontier agentic architecture, techniques, harnesses, and self-evolving infrastructure
- Strong desire to own a product end to end: building it, deploying it, talking to customers, selling it, learning from it
- Ability to engage with banking customers (e.g., 60-year-old bankers) with curiosity and respect
- Comfort with early-stage change and evolving priorities
- Pragmatic approach to shipping—value delivered over premature optimization
