About the role

Picogrid is seeking its first Vice President of Government Affairs to own and build the company’s entire relationship with Washington, D.C., from Capitol Hill to the Pentagon. The role includes developing and executing a federal government affairs strategy, shaping policy in unmanned systems and C2 space, translating operational capabilities into policy wins, and building an in-house government affairs function from zero to one.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Picogrid's full government affairs strategy at the federal level: build and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers across Congress, OSD, the military services, combatant commands, and relevant interagency stakeholders, including defense appropriations and armed services committees.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in government affairs, defense policy, congressional affairs, or related roles, with a demonstrable track record of influencing policy and procurement outcomes.
