About the role

Design at Sarvam has had an outsized impact on everything we've built so far. We're growing the team and are looking for designers who treat design as the core of the product, not a layer applied at the end.

Responsibilities

  • Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business value.
  • Build and maintain design systems and ensure appropriate use or evolution of systems.
  • Ship end-to-end design work with ownership and accountability (ship to prod, access to Mixpanel, customers, engineering codebase).
  • Translate abstract ideas into flows people understand and drive activation, engagement, and retention as design problems.
  • Work across UX, UI, interaction, and systems with strong product judgment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years designing digital products end to end at a product-driven company
  • Portfolio showing real craft: typography, hierarchy, motion, interaction, the full stack of visual and UX thinking
  • Strong UX intuition to convert concepts into understandable flows
  • Strong product judgment focusing on activation, engagement, and retention
  • Range across UX, UI, interaction, and systems
  • Bias for shipping and willingness to iterate over perfection
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership
  • Strong opinions, loosely held
