About the role

MyTruv is the AI money autopilot. The role owns the voice, content, and community end-to-end to make personal finance funny, human, and shareable without being cringe. You are the first community hire and will shape sound across channels, create content, and build a zero-to-one community and creator engine.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of MyTruv: own how we sound everywhere (social, community, in-app copy, notifications). One voice, real person with taste and humor.
  • Win TikTok: run concept, script, shoot, edit, post; be the maker and often the face; turn AI money insights and user stories into viral videos.
  • Get us alive where our users actually talk: build presence on Twitter/X and Reddit with a native American voice.
  • Build the community from zero: establish Slack, WhatsApp, or iMessage communities; create rituals, AMAs, early access; respond like a human and grow engaged users.
  • Help run the creator engine: source/brief creators, manage UGC, support referral and revenue-share programs.
  • Be the ear to the ground: weekly feedback from users to product and marketing with receipts.

Qualifications

  • Natural, fluent English voice with strong American tone and idiom; real writing, humor, taste.
  • Ability to produce short-form video; portfolio required.
  • Hustler mentality; excited to own a real product.
  • Interest in money and personal finance; aim to demystify it for normal people.
  • Ability to persuade concisely; sell ideas in one sentence.
  • Fluent in TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Twitter, and Reddit; proficient with video editors (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut).
  • Based in the US and authorized to work here.
  • Strong taste and hunger over resume length; early career welcome if voice is evident.
