About the role

Senior scheduler for data center projects within Accenture Construct, responsible for creating and managing detailed project schedules across design through closeout, coordinating with project teams, and driving on-time delivery of complex programs.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
  • Define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate timelines, optimizing workflows and resource allocations to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives.
  • Track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
  • Identify schedule risks early, assess potential impacts, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies.
  • Perform “what-if” analyses and develop recovery schedules to keep projects on track amid changes or disruptions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to communicate schedule updates, coordinating subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Document actual versus planned timelines, maintain historical schedule data, and analyze lessons learned for future improvement.
  • Flexible: work location includes a mix of remote, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office or center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
