About the role

Lead the Product Engineering team for Data Center Graphics products in AMD's Asia-based operations, driving yield improvement, new product introduction, and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable production and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Engineering team in driving product yield improvement across all production insertions through statistical data analysis and engineering methodologies. Oversee key engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, including design validation, performance characterization, product qualification, and production release.
  • Work with global NPI functional teams for new product development and transition to the sustaining phase.
  • Manage the flawless test and process execution by introducing new products and their ramp to volume production in manufacturing partners.
  • Lead sustaining yield activities which include driving product performance and margin improvement by working closely with our operations and development teams.
  • Lead multi-functional teams and maintain committed schedules on multiple projects while collaborating with other engineering functions & different levels of management.
  • Work with the Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Failure Analysis teams in the disposition of product excursions and manage cases through a material review board.

Qualifications

  • Over 8 years’ experience in new product introduction, product engineering and manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving methodologies for yield improvement and manufacturing optimization.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience, with demonstrated leadership skills in team development, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and effective cross-functional communication
  • Have the fluent English communication in both verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to work with global team to meet KPIs, deliver efficient and effective results.
  • Detailed understanding of device physics and semiconductor processing for sophisticated and leading technology nodes.
