About the role

Role focused on defining end-to-end server product architecture for EPYC processors within AMD’s Datacenter System Architecture and Engineering team, engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver optimized, scalable server solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Server Product Architecture definition
  • Architect solutions using AMD Processors, accelerators, Network Components for High-Performance Computing, Server and Mega data center applications
  • Define requirements for products, system and components for performance, power balance and cost
  • Work on R&D of next generation server designs to improve performance
  • Influence future products/solutions by contributing to product and system architecture and technology execution
  • Deep knowledge of product architecture and design including memory, I/O, signal integrity, power integrity, packaging, power delivery, thermal, mechanical, power management, boot process, FW and hardware management
  • Establish credibility with engineering and leadership counterparts at top tech companies, communicate results clearly, drive alignment on solutions

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with extensive experience
