About the role
Scout is an AI-native operating system for schools. The role is a high-agency full-stack engineer position responsible for owning features end-to-end across web, mobile, and backend, with direct interaction with customers and the ability to ship MVPs quickly and iterate.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical vision and product direction as a core team member.
- Take ownership of zero-to-one features for our web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Sit in on sales calls and talk to our customers to deeply understand what we’re building.
- Own the relationship with customers, ensure Scout setup correctly, and provide needed features for success.
- Do what it takes to build an early-stage startup. Everyone has to do everything. “That’s not my job” isn’t in our vocabulary.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience building production software in a team environment.
- History of adopting cutting edge technology and software development tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Deep passion for making a massive impact on the world.
