About the role

Role within AMD's Discrete GPU Platform Firmware Operations focused on embedded firmware and graphics/multimedia drivers, driving platform-centric features across AMD products and end-to-end firmware lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Be the firmware representative for the respective SOC program in AMD cross-organizational meetings
  • Be looked at as the firmware Point of Contact (PoC) and responsible for driving technical discussions within the broad domain of firmware groups
  • Responsible for driving & coordinating debug of critical severity firmware centric defects/issues
  • Firmware PoC for engagements with Kicker SKUs and engagement with Customer Engineering teams
  • Participate in reviewing requests to add new requirements after program plan exit phase

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
