About the role

Role focused on SerDes IP support for the Server team with emphasis on SerDes architecture, equalization, characterization, system-level channel design, and SI/PI trade-offs for robust link performance.

Responsibilities

  • The SerDes IP support role to the Server team.
  • Capable of running IBIS-AMI model link level simulations.
  • Understanding PCIe specifications of different generations.
  • Familiarity with Matlab, C/C++ programming, Python.
  • Experience with lab equipment for high-speed digital systems.
  • Good background of statistics and signal processing.
  • Good understanding of SI/PI basics for high-speed serial links.
  • Having the skillset of PCB design.
  • Efficient in analyzing results and making decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent technical communication skills (presentations and documentation).
  • Team player

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of SerDes architecture, equalization principle, and characterization techniques.
  • Experience in system level channel design, trade-offs factors for robust link performance in terms of SI/PI.
