About the role

Genius in Apple Retail with extensive troubleshooting skills who educates customers on repairs and Apple offerings, performs repairs, mentors team members, and contributes to an inclusive, high-service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service to Apple customers by understanding their needs and educating them on relevant ways to buy.
  • Educate customers about repair options and Apple offerings.
  • Perform repairs on all Apple products serviced in the store.
  • Enhance team knowledge by modeling exceptional service and mentoring team members.
  • Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and provide feedback to Apple via team leaders.
  • Use extensive hardware/software knowledge to identify root causes and educate others.
  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and positive role model for Genius Bar team members.
  • Support and educate the broader team by sharing knowledge and insights.
  • Frequent handling, lifting, and moving of merchandise as needed.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and demonstrate Apple values in daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
