About the role
On-device AI/ML engineer focused on improving speech recognition models to run fast and privately on consumer hardware, with remote/work in Toronto option.
Responsibilities
- Improve our speech recognition models: accuracy, speed, language support
- Make models run faster on Apple Silicon. Every millisecond matters.
- Research what's new in speech recognition and figure out what we can use
- Work with the team to ship models to real users
Qualifications
- 2+ years working on ML, ideally speech or audio
- You know PyTorch or TensorFlow well
- You've deployed models in production, not just trained them
- You can read a paper and implement what matters
