About the role
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing and building foundational datasets, dimensional data models, enterprise metrics, and curated data products to power analytics, BI, and AI across CoreWeave. Partner with business domains and analytics teams to translate operations into scalable data models on a modern lakehouse platform.
Responsibilities
- .design and build foundational datasets powering analytics, BI, and AI across CoreWeave
- develop dimensional data models, enterprise metrics, and curated data products
- translate operational processes into scalable data models in collaboration with business domains and analytics teams
- ensure performance, quality, and consistency across the data ecosystem
- work with a modern lakehouse platform and distributed data processing systems
- collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to enable complex questions to be answered
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing and building analytical data models in enterprise data warehouse or lakehouse environments
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Rust) with production-grade data systems experience
- Advanced SQL skills with experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex analytical workloads
- Hands-on experience with distributed data processing systems (Spark, Flink, or similar)
- Experience with modern lakehouse architectures and analytics technologies (Iceberg, Delta, StarRocks, ClickHouse, or Trino)
- Deep expertise in dimensional modeling for scaled OLAP workloads
- Experience building curated datasets, semantic models, and enterprise metrics supporting BI, analytics, and AI use cases
