About the role

Senior ML engineer role focused on continuous learning in production for self-improving agents. Work with GPU-rich environment to generate and validate research directions across real customer tasks, touching CUDA kernels to LLM tracing dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and investigate research ideas towards solving obstacles to continuous learning in production
  • Validate research directions across real customer tasks with the broader CRAFT team
  • Contribute across stack from CUDA kernels to high-performance LLM tracing dashboards
  • Ship while learning in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Own and influence roadmap and priorities within the CRAFT team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in machine learning, or PhD with 2+ years of relevant industry experience (strong focus on model training)
  • Strong programming in Python with PyTorch or JAX experience
  • Strong understanding of LLM post-training techniques (supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, on-policy distillation)
  • Experience developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models in production
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
